US 425

AFJMc January 22, 2016 Government, Transportation

The project includes topographic survey, preliminary and final roadway plans and drainage design for Bastrop Log Cabin, which was originally designed as a five lane urban section for one mile with a four lane divided rural section for the remaining three miles. Because of the cost associated with right-of-way acquisition, a new typical section has been used to best fit the five lane modified suburban section. This cost was reduced by an estimated $5 million.
